We have a workshop / gym which has 16mm rubber matting on the floor. It was a mottled surface finish so not smooth and cloths tend to snarl on it a bit.

My wife’s idea of cleaning a muddy bike is to spray it with just enough water to loosen up all the mud then place it in the workshop and leave it for all the mud to drop off and dry out on the mats under the bike.

So, I either need a new patio or a something better than a bucket and mop for cleaning the floor. I was thinking a steam cleaner which also sucks back up the dirty water.

Any recommendations?
