- Recommend me a D-Lock
Google “secondary locks lfgss” which is the little sister of the “lfgss locks that work” thread.
From there I’ve just bought Onguard brute mini for less than £15. Small light but feels fairly substantial for nipping to the shop.
Edit: I also have a heavy bad boy from their locks that work list for when requiredPosted 4 years agoPJayMember
I often park up the bike and go for a wander when out riding and obviously need to lock it up. I currently have a Kryptonite New York 3000 D-Lock which is Sold Secure Gold and a pretty impressive piece of kit, but it’s really heavy to cart around in my backpack and I’m after a lighter lock that’s still secure and a good compromise between weight and strength for when the bike’s not left for too long.
Abus seem to produce some lightish ‘Sold Secure Silver’ units that fit the bill, but I was wondering what other folk use.Posted 4 years ago
