Selling my car and payer wants to pay by paypal, circa £3k.

If he makes the transaction today should I let him drive the car away?

    Thanks muchly

Absolutely not – they can reverse a payment so you loose your money and the car.

I’d say No, dont do it….

however if you’ve listed the car as being able to pay by paypal then you’ll have to just do it.

Via Ebay might be OK – but if the buyer complains you never delivered the car, they’ll reverse the payment and you’ll be chasing them in court for your car and the money….

    Not a chance.

Cash or cleared funds in the bank is the only way I’d let anyone drive away.

He probably wants to pay on his credit cards, so using Paypal is cheaper (for him) than paying the fee for a cash advance. But that’s his problem not yours.
