  • reccomend me a simple, not too bright, camelbak mount back light

for mtb use, with occasional quiet road sections. I don’t want or need blinding brightness, but what I do need is something I can easily and securely clip on the back of my pack, and, vitally, reach round to switch on and off on the go, so easy button and not loads of modes.

My seatpost mount lights, of which I have a few, wont fit with reverb and crud guard

It’s hard to tell if you’ve turned the fibre flare on, if you’re not able to see it.

Edit: The switch is very small, underneath a big piece of smooth silicone, and has no ‘click’. So you just have to squeeze the light in what you think is the right place and hope that you’ve got it.

bails – good point, however having looked at pics of it I think I might put it on a seatstay…

a wander to LBS at lunchtime for a poke at it methinks 😆

Smart Lunar r2 is pretty good and has a ‘clip’ to secure it.
