  • Reba fork leg replaced under warranty – advice please ?

I bought a new (2013) Reba RL Solo Air a few weeks back, however after a few rides I found a crack opening on the top disc post mount. It went back to shop and on to Fishers, who have advised :

Lower leg replaced under warranty from stock fork. This is a SID upgrade. Fork tested and returned in full working order.

Not really sure what this means by way of upgrade, but I guess sounds fair ?

    Any thoughts ?

I guess you’ve now got SID lower legs – probably a bit lighter.

    Need you know more?

EDIT: ^ Hmm, may sound a tad harsh. I’d say a win and good job fishers.

I’d be very happy with that and good service by Fishers.

The lowers are the same starting from 2013-ish, so the only upgrade you got is the stickers :).

“9. 2013-2014 Reba and 2013-2014 SiD Solo air internals, CSu and Lower Leg assemblies are interchangeable.”

thanks all, happy with the solution and the service, useful to know that they are similar/the same and interchangeable.

Thanks to both Fishers and Winstanleys – can’t fault the process.
