Rear Shock upgrade question

I`m looking to upgrade my rear shock
I`ve got a rear shock that is 190 x 50 it as no lock out or pro pedal
Can i fit a longer shock say a 200 x 50 and would it be okay?

my frame is 120 mm rear travel

probably be ok. Depends on the frame design. Ive put a 215 on a pitch that was a 190 and thats great. raises the bb. what frame is it?

Its a rockrider 9.1 frame

Would make the angles slightly steeper and raise the BB, but not dramatically. Would be better to get one the same size if you can.

Youve gotta have the 10mm space you will require. As sambob says try for the same size but a 200×50 should be ok.
