Without ripping up my decking, what is the best way to get rid/relocate a wild rabbit from my garden?

For what’s its worth on here, sensible idea’s please.

    Ferret?

    Or

Nuke it from orbit. ‘Tis the only way to be sure.

A cat will probably get it fairly quickly.

I would prefer to relocate if possible 😉

If I spot it out in the garden, its under the decking like a shot, with the slightest movement or noise?

Our two cats are not into rabbit meat sadly, thing seems quite happy to scamper about when they are around, but it can sell a human at a 100 yards!

Come back when you’ve got a badger. That’s the new thing to have under your decking.

Borrow a Jack Russell would be my suggestion.

Lure it out with a carrot – worked for Bugs Bunny

Are you sure he/she is living there or just passing through? Maybe was chased under there by local cat,dog or fox? I’d give it a day or two and see if it’s still there as there are not prone to living close to us to be honest.

If it’s still there I’d send it a bill for rental accomodation 😀

Or just give a prod with a broom (give it a escape route don’t have the garden full of every one just you go on your own and let it run in the opposite direction and out from the decking) if wild it will be gone if it stays it’s either a lost pet or injured and may make a decent stew*

    * Depending or said injury.

Can’t you just leave him there? He’s not going to eat the decking is he?

You need seven carrots and a shovel.

You put one carrot out a day for seven days, then no carrot.

When the rabbit knocks on your back door and says ‘Where’s my carrot?’, you hit it with the shovel.

( this also works for tapeworms using Mars Bars…)
