My better half and I are on annual leave next week so we’re firing up our knackered bus and going on an adventure.

We’ll be following our noses and overnighting at a couple of beauty spots along the way, but we know from past experience that to properly relax we need to check into a campsite for a few nights (especially as it’s mrs yunki’s birthday that week so we’ll want a bottle of wine or two)

We’re looking for secret hideaways, woody glades, off the beaten track and dog friendly.. The chance to spot a hare or two would be a bonus.

Does anyone have any tip offs for breathtaking locations? TIA 🙂

I’ve never stayed at the campsite but there is lots and lots of Jurassic Coast loveliness around Toms Field at Langton Matravers. The Square & Compass is within walking distance for extra bonus points.

That looks like a solid suggestion. Thanks Piha.

We’re looking further inland now too.. New Forest and South Downs.

Any more ideas from the evening crowd?
