Battersea park is nice. Good pub by the cottage garden at the opp end of the carpark. And its on the river.

As for pubs, Seven Stars at the back of the RCJ (and round the corner from Lincoln’s Inn Fields) is nice for a pint

It really depends where you are going to be – one of the joys of London is the number of green spaces.

Its quite a big place so an idea of where you’ll be would help unless you fancy a couple of hours on the tube.

Looks good, not sure which pub you refer to, but the magic garden looks a little , shall we say Trippy?

Victoria embankment gardens

Glass of wine at gordons wine bar. Then a mooch in the gardens

if you do go through hyde park, the Victoria at Lancaster gate is a great little pub. If it’s open see if you can sit in the library upstairs.

South of the river there is west square gardens near the imperial war museum, near there you have the old red lion in kennington, the laughing gravy on blackfriars road, the kings arms on roupell street, or the royal oak on tabard street. There’s also the George on borough high st but i’m not that fond of it…

Camley Street natural park – round the back(north)of St Pancras.
Waterlow Park in Highgate is lovely.
I think Regents park is the best for a bit of peace and quiet…..

im a big fan of Victoria Park up the east end. nice ride along the Regents canal to get there too. JSL

a pukka spot, off the track, to get some quiet time.

You can find a quiet spot in Green Park quite easily, the further you get away from the Ritz/Green Park Tube the quieter it gets, eg up towards Hyde Park Corner

Smaller but often quiet spaces can be found around the inns or temple. Interesting buildings and nice pubs all around. Lincolns inn fields is a favourite….
