Quick poll. Are the Tories all southerners and the Labour types all northerners?
I think there was recent poll that mights help on this, yeah here took some searching but found it.Posted 7 years agoyunkiMember
slightly irritating though..
there should really be a lot more yellow in the sparsely populated rural areas.. only hordes of blue townies have flocked to these areas to swing the majorities.. thus leaving the once fairly equally divided cities looking very red indeed with a lot more very unlikely blue everywhere..
it's a CONspiracy I tell thee..Posted 7 years ago

That map just demonstrates how badly we need an English parliament.Posted 7 years agoSinglespeed_ShepMember

Just a thought checking the names I know this appears like it might be generally true – though I'm sure there will be exceptions. And does it mean socialist get better trails?

"Bath" of the north
😯 Sorry you have a bath in the north? I find that very surprising, is it just the one?
Now where did I put my shandy?
Very blue and yellow round here – can't imagine anyone voting Labour after all they're in red as is a certain nearby football team.Posted 7 years agokevonakonaMember

It shows the Scots don't want their own given the lack of SNP.
Or that we know that a vote in the general election is different to one in the "election" for our tribal leader. That or there is a real collective memory to the good old days of Snatcher.Posted 7 years ago
Singlespeed_Shep – Been in York, or more precisely just outside one of the villages just outside York, for about 8 years now, and I lived over Wetherby way before that, but my going out for a beer in York time is on hold at present. A small boy in our lives means that drinking now means wine at home for my wife and I – if I can go out it's normally running or on the bike.Posted 7 years ago
On the other hand, York is a brilliant town to bring up a family, and though somewhat flat, fairly bike friendly. The pubs as I remember were pretty good too, but it's been a long time.
