are you asking if it’s an ‘old’ (aged) design or what size rear hub it takes?

Del, why don’t you look on the planet x website? Email them?

Surely a spectacularly better idea to ask the people who make them before asking here?

Could anyone tell me the OLD (Outer Locknut Dimension) required for a Planet-X Uncle John frame as I am unsure as to whether it requires road or MTB hubs?

as an old retro git i thought the op was looking to part exchange an old uncle john tyre!
admitedly i have only heard of a farmer john and cousin versions of tyres but it is not impossible for a version to pass my horizon without me knowing about it.

Ah I see, so ‘What size hubs for a PX Uncle John?’ would be the non smart arse way of phrasing it. 😉

That link provides absolutely no clues to what an OLD is though, in my 12 years of cycling I’ve never heard of it.
