Before I send mine back as dead on arrival- there’s nothing that needs to be removed/switched etc before use is there? Charged battery, connected hose and lance, can hear the motor, but there’s no action. Can’t feel any suction at the bottom or pressure at the top, no water being sucked in the hose.

Any thoughts?

Make sure the orange hose attachment fitting is tight on the washer unit.
If it’s not fully tight it’ll struggle to self prime if you’re sucking water up with it.

Mine arrived today – there is a card with it that says for first use or after long-term storage, attach hose to tap and make sure water is going through hose with machine turned on. Says do not start working until the water goes up along the hose and sprays out.

I think you need to surrender your man card and go stand in the corner until you feel sorry for what you’ve done then come back and apologise.

Yeah, aware we don’t RTFM, but was just pointing out there is a note (with mine) that says to attach to tap for first use.

Mine says “delivered” yet I haven’t seen it. Amazon chat says “wait until the end of the day Friday 11th”.

I’ve had this a few times and it’s always arrived next day or later the same. Its been ticked off by the driver as delivered but hasn’t actually been. I assume its either completely accidental or its about hitting delivery rates and things. I wouldn’t worry.

When I eventually read my manual it said to start on the 0° setting until water comes out, I don’t know if that helps.
