    There will be a Superstars Christmas Special featuring athletes from the Olympics and will include a cycle hill climb … very happy memories of the original. David Vine was great but I’m happy with the Gabby Yorath upgrade … I can’t wait

    Excellent news! The levels of fitness in modern sport should make this really competitive. Great stuff.
    ESPN Classic sometimes show some of the 70s episodes – they’re still fascinating!

    I remember seeing one guy who hedl the world records for press-ups and dips.

    Fooking immense strength and fitness levels.

    You’ve just reminded me of ‘Superchamps’ now too. 😀

    I was out in La Manga around the time they filmed it over there. Was rather amusing to see people suffering their way up (part of!) the climb up from La Cala! 🙂

    Not superstars but Precious Mckenzie would have given Brian Jacks a run for his money. Never saw BJ hold 2 minis trying to pull away with ropes around his elbows.
