Decathlon in Merry Hill have some ok looking softshells in the sale at the moment, £25 each.

I doubt they are anything special but I bought one and it is perfect for a bit cold weather riding, not to hot and has vents if you over heat. The only problem is that they are available only in bright orange or bright yellow. Subtle they are not but for £25 mine is fine and was perfect for last night jaunt over Clent.
