    Wilkinson’s tackling still amazes me.

    Happy, happy days.

Two players that England have never replaced:

    Richard Hill and Will Greenwood.

I’m still hoping Billy Twelvetrees can be the successor to Greenwood, but I’m not sure the numbers game at the breakdown now allows players to run the risk of being isolated.

Some of Greenwood’s running lines are just perfect of you look. No need for blistering pace if you can stand your opposite number up.

It always surprised me how quickly Woodman came and went as well. For technical scrummaging he was one of the best. If the **** ref let the front rows scrum properly, that is!

I think after this game he basically said that he didn’t bother scrummaging properly after half time due to watson’s refereeing and the fact that Al Baxter was gash. He basically had to stand there and hold Baxter up because every time he hinged the ref gave aus a penalty.

Still, the right result was achieved in the end.

Tom Wood is excellent and has the potential to replicate Hill. No answer to the Greenwood question though….even if he were scottish, 12trees isn’t an international centre.

Who was it that stood on Larkhams face? Cohen wasnt it. That won them the world cup imo.
