    I know fat bikes have mostly fallen out of favour these days, but for those who still appreciate their ludicrous go-anywhere tendencies, Merlin are flogging 26×4.8 Jumbo Jim’s for £34.99 each / £32.50 each if you buy a pair, which is a binkin’ bargain. Free postage too!

    I don’t think 4.8’s will fit my Mk1 Pug. Good tyres these.

    That version of JJ’s is <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Definitely</span> not tubeless compatible though…… Many reports of tyres blowing off rims from people who have tried.

    I haven’t seen a fat bike on a mountain bike trail for at least 3 years.

    Maybe they are all off exploring things my skinny 2.6 tyres can’t ride.

    There are a few electric fat “bikes” rolling round Nottingham. “Bikes” as in they that clearly been converted to a throttle and are ridden like motorbikes
