Just caught up on the last two weeks. Magician episode was clever, really enjoyed it. This weeks…Wow! Could not work out where that was going. Very very clever, superb writing

I thought this week’s was the weakest of the series. It was ok but not up to the same standard as the rest.

Thought this weeks was great, until the shot at the end where

    Spoiler:
all the personalities stood next to each other

I thought that was a bit obvious and unnecessary.

I’ll be watching it later as I was nights last night.

I said this in reference to last week’s, the video diary one. Haven’t seen this week’s yet.

Yarp, video diaries was weakest of the series but still far from crap.

    Spoiler:
end shot was a bit naff though, and the narrator doing exposition of the personalities felt a bit rushed

Last nights (#6) was a good ‘un.

I think I must have missed something somewhere, though I’m very tired. How did

    Spoiler:
Shearsmith’s copper end up being deaded? Who turned whom? It felt a bit deus ex machina and rushed.

Spolier Alert (can’t do the fancy hidey stuff)

    Spoiler:
Presume he had been one of the undead for a while and he “converted” the dead colleague as he called him my child. The shot at the start and end was just after he had feasted so it wasn’t his blood.

Haven’t seen all of this series yet, but this is the 2nd time a Shearsmith character has killed a Pemberton one. I wonder if there is anything underlying this?

Ah, the second sentence there was the detail I missed. Thank you.

I enjoyed The Stakeout, until the “twist”, which just made me shrug.
    Too corny

Reason they sometimes appear rushed, is cos they’re fitting quite a lot into half an hour!

A bit of a thread resurrection but I spotted this on the BBC website – https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/2021/series-six-inside-number-9-cast – the filming for Series 6 has been completed (hopefully it won’t be too long before it reaches our screens.
