Popped into the Wednesbury branch of Decathlon today and it looks like they have a new CX bike in their range. Aluminium frame, carbon forks, 105 throughout, Onix brakes and Mavic Askium wheels all for £800. It looked like an absolute bargain and if I wasn’t skint I’d have bought one there and then.

So for those interested in a new bike and don’t mind having B-Twin on your downtude I suggest you take a look.

They’ve done it for years, but is very patchy as to availability… very much a race bike – no guard/rack mounts

That’s good value… Looks like older 105 on it? (side-exiting cables, which being old and bad tempered I reckon is better…)

The one in the shop had the under the tape cables so was a newer 105 than the one in that picture.

Been available for a while, still one of the best value CX bikes out there.
