£99 basket once per month is only for CRC, no restrictions on bike gear at Halfords.

Is the race fluid compatible with regular Stans, ie can you top up regular Stans with race or do you need to fully clean out to switch to race?

The race stuff is the same latex compound but just with a higher number of bigger fibres so it plugs the hole faster. The downside is that it can ball up quicker due to the thicker mixture. But yes there would be no issue with topping up normal Stans with the Race version.
