Good PSA. I’d already ordered one off Bike discount but had to buy some other stuff to get up to their minimum

I’ve ordered one as a spare as they’re the only place I can find with one and I know if I’ve not got one, we’ll need it!

Plus Mantel will only ship if the order is under £135, which seems to be the other way around to most.

Presumably so they don’t have to screw around removing local taxes in their prices for UK buyers as anything below 135 doesn’t attract the attention of customs faffery.

Mantel are very good, definitely my preferred continental retailer.

Having just fitted my spare XT 12 speed i could do with another, the ebike seems to eat drivetrains rapidly!

So we can blame ebikers for drivetrain shortages? 🙂

Anyone managed to find one anywhere else. Any place I found with them listed as in stock turned out not to have them.

Nicholsons in Dundee had 2 when I popped in yesterday.

shimano 12 speed has gone mad,

merlin have the XT/slx cassettes £105-£150, XT were £95 in december,
i got a couple of slx derailleurs last month £70-75, but now sold out,

they also have chains £30-40 SLX/XT and SLX cranksets in stock

reasonably priced? possibly not, but it beats not being able to ride your bike if your chain dies.

wiggle had 9 XTR cassettes at £250 on tuesday i got the alert and looked again 9pm and only 2 left

cant make them quick enough

I picked up a 12 speed gold Kmc x12 ti-n chain from Amazon a few weeks back for about £40 ish I think. I didn’t look to find any cheaper as I wanted a gold one and that was about the cheapest gold one I could find. Plus xx1 gold chains were out of stock pretty much everywhere 🤷‍♂️

@oceanskipper had a dispatch email but it’s coming from Holland so I’m expecting next week at some point.

I ordered one and had a mail from UPS saying it was being delivered this morning (pretty quick!), but then it didnt turn up and I got another mail saying it is now Monday. Even still thats pretty good in my book!

Not XT but ordered a 12 speed GX mech and chain.

I had UPS notification saying today but it didn’t turn up. Says Monday now. I had the same issue with some stuff from Bikester but that never turned up at all…..

I ordered one of these from Tredz 2 weeks ago and they were down to be dispatched yesterday but I didn’t mind the wait. I got an email today saying that their shipment has been delayed until August. Missed several other opportunities to order one from other places as I thought I had secured one.

Has anyone seen any available to order that has stock?
