    No, not a Dialled Alpine, I’ve already got a big bouncy hardtail, but a bike for trips to the alps. I’ve got a few DH races this year as well as a trip to the alps and I thought “why the hell not” and built this up. The tyres aren’t ideal and the mech’s far too long but I hope it’ll be a laugh.

    Taking it for its first play today at Dunkeld. I hope I’m enough of a rider for it 😐

    And, by contrast, here’s this week’s 2nd new bike, for a few alpine passes this summer-

    Well, took it for a play at dunkeld and it was excellent, though the rear mech is a bit bent.
