Pro 2 Evo freehub on Pro II hub?

Just wondering whether an evo freehub will fit on a Pro II hub? Thanks

Yes* if you change all the insides. So axle, end caps and main bearings. There were articles on how to upgrade a pro 2 to Evo when the Evo was released.

*But not the 40t version as that freehub is wider.

I think the freehub us the same between the evo and the 40t in terms of how they fit on the hub aren’t they? You just can’t fit the newer freehub on an older hub and expect room to use a road 11s cassette as the hub shell also has to have a tweak to the flange for spoke clearance.

OP- swapped out the axle and bearings to happily run an evo xd freehub on an old pro2 wheel. Pretty sure i could bump it up to boost and microspline too if i wanted
