Has anyone got a pair of the Primal Wear overshoes / booties that are on the Planet X website at the moment?

They look great for winter riding – I’ll be wearing them on the road with spd shoes so no issues with cleat accessibility as it suggests – and I like the fact that they are really closed in on the sole for warmth / waterproofness. But, they look extremely slippery for any walking on ice etc.

Any experience?

I need to replace my overshoes so looking around anyway, thinl they’ll fall apart in a few rides so any other recommendations welcome.

Hi, I just bought a pair, for the road with SPDs like you.
Only worn once. They seem fine, nice and warm, but an odd shape, very long and narrow. I am size 48, but had to go for XXL for the width. They do look a bit comical, but I don’t care.

Go for it, for the money I don’t think you’ll do better.
