The very fact you’re showing interest in her also should be a great enough gift.
There shouldn’t be any need to give a present if you let her know in words, that you are glad to of had the chance to meet her and look forward to getting to know her further.
If she expects a material gift, she’s not into you, but into your wallet.
To buy her a gift of a slightly higher value than a set of brake pads now may send her signals that you like to buy things for her and she may expect it in the future, you’ll be setting a bench mark in expected kindness.
Where as words can mean more, not be chucked in a cupboard and be appreciated time and time again.
A small gift could however be a good gesture so perhaps a packet of tic tacs.
