I am getting a charge duster & rigid fork powdercoated…

The only threads are in the headsett, so just old cups? and how do I go about protecting the steerer? any ideas?

Put it this way, if the coater doesn’t know how to prep a bike, you should probably look elsewhere- there’s plenty that do, and you’ll probably get a better result. Powdercoaters really vary in quality and results.

i’ll strip for you anytime bigboy. 😯

You’ll probarbley just get a bit of “overspray” in the headtube and round the crown race seat on the fork.
Dead easy to clean off with Nitromorse. I’ll do it for you if you don’t want to damage your womanly hands….

I’ve no idea…It sticks to the metal (?)…there are ovens involved at some point.

I should probably read up about it.

It’s sprayed on with a gun then baked.

Still comes off with paint stripper though.
