Thinking about giving my legs and lungs a good thrashing and I’m guessing something soft compound not ridiculously knobbly should do the trick… I’m not planning on setting the cobbles alight with my speed, but I’d like to stay upright! 😆

The ones on your bike. People spend to much time worrying about tyres and pressures.

Sorry if that sounded harsh, just at the end of a long night shift and a little tired.

zerocool – guessing you don’t know the Buttress?

I’d be going with something knobbly with as soft a compound as is available.

I might have an attempt at the Buttress sometime in the next week and see if its worth a go at paying a tenner to ‘race’ up it. Guessing it can’t be as steep as San Francisco but a lot slippier…
