A couple who are friends of mine are cycling around the world at the moment. In Vietnam last week a drunk motorcyclist rammed straight into the lady as she was cycling up a hill. Her bike was totally wrecked but even though she was thrown some distance, she escaped with relatively minor injuries.

The bike was a Sanderson touring prototype from Independant and I’m told that, true to form, Independant are going that extra mile to get a replacement frame and forks out to Vietnam so they can rebuild and continue their journey.

I Think I’ve read criticism of On Your Bike on here before….so this offers a bit of balance…. I’m also told that On Your Bike (London) are being particularly helpful and going that extra mile to get replacement parts out to Vietnam for them.
