Hi,

Can anyone recommend a seat post rack mount (not a seat clamp rack mount)

Like this one – https://salsacycles.com/components/category/racks/post-lock

Tried a few but they are all designed to fit around the seat clamp and have a lip, which I cant use on my carbon frame.

Its for mounting to the seat post.

RE filing it down: I could do that but didn’t want a bodge as my frame is carbon.

Would like to buy the Salsa one but having trouble finding the seat post only version. Also the generic seat clamp rack mounts go for £7 while this one is £30+

You mean one without a lip? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one, are you sure it exists?

How will if damage your frame if it’s mounting to a seatpost?

Just file down the lip, the carbon frame won’t notice.
