Am I right in thinking that with the SRAM DUB cranks, the only difference between boost & non-boost is the chainring?
Been looking at group sets for a possible new build & the difference in price for a non boost groupset is a good deal cheaper than the boost one.
Will a new chainring be the only thing required?
    Thanks.

If it’s a direct mount chainring crank then yes the offset is in the ring itself. 3mm is boost / 6mm is non boost / 0mm is fat. Steel chainrings last an amazingly long time and are under £20 if you shop around.

Yes, should have said direct mount.
Thanks, that’s just what I thought, cheers for confirming!
