Family & I went to the ‘Big Apple’ event today. We go every year (as we live just down the road) but always tend to do the same venues (start with Awnells Farm, then Greg’s Cider Pit followed by Lyne Down, all rounded off with a stint at Hellens).

Well, this year we stepped well out of our comfort zone and visited the village hall (excellent selection of cakes & other produce, by the way) and the church. At the insistance of the youngest, we all had a go at bell-ringing (which turned out to be surprisingly relaxing).

If you’re in the area and like booze, bells & bikes then I would recommend it! (Event is on all W/E, BTW.)
