So, driving down the M60 today and one of the Matrix signs said ‘Sign Not in Use’.

Does this actually make the sign in use and therefore the message becomes highly inaccurate?

    Cheers

If a tree falls in a forest and there is no one there to hear it, does it make a noise?

If the quack of a duck in a box doesn’t echo does this mean the duck is dead ?

Or, because the sign is not in use, you should ignore it, and therefore you can safely presume it’s in use.

    See also,

“This page intentionally left blank.” Well, it’s not now, is it?

@cougar – damn you – I had enough on my mind with the not in use, in use sign and you throw that in the mix.

Must drink more beer and move to whisky – it is the only way to resolve these issues.
