    Just looked at my new POC elbow protectors and noticed you cant remove the padding as you can on the 661 Evo version, so I checked the label for washing instructions.

    It says do not wash with water !

    Thats a bit crap, they are going to get very muddy and sweaty, why cant they make them so you can slip out the padding stuff as 661 do.

    Or do other users just bung them in the machine on a cold / cool wash ?

    With water ? I love the way it says do not wash with water, as if there is an alternative 🙂

    yes, pain isn’t it.

    I ignored it on my old ones and the foamy pad in the knee broke across one of the slits it’s got to allow for ariculation.

    I wash the new ones in the sink now – bit of a soak in warm water with some soap flakes and a good rinse and they seem fine.

    Cheers, I will do that as I imagine they are going to stink pretty well after a week in the Alps, never mind the mud.
