I am. Out of shape and out talent.

Was out with Kev today help clean and brash.  The 1000ft stage is a monster!

Course looks really fun, the shonkier nature of some of the stages is something I ended up missing with the endless tweed valley enduros, this one seems like it’s a big back to the good old days of “we’ve built a feature here and a bridge here and kind of strimmed some grass”. Was worried that with all the closures they wouldn’t be able to put together a good event.

I’ve been putting off entering, not sure if I’ll get car out of garage in time, Did the Hillbilly enduro a couple of weeks ago did ok but felt like a lack of fitness was holding me back and this one is definitely a bigger day out.

Does anyone know how the PMBA works, no practice on Saturday because of the women’s race? Practice and one race run on Sunday? Racing blind?

I’ll be there hanging around at the back trying not to get in the way of the fast folk 😀.

Looking forward to it, but the bike has been neglected for a while now, so hoping I haven’t lost too much in terms of skills… just got to beat my mate and ill be happy!

The Saturday races aren’t the same as the Sunday race. They’re introductory type races, with easier stages than the main Sunday race.

There may be some overlap between some stages being used for the Saturday races and the main Sunday race, but you will have a chance to practice the full course on the Saturday.
