    I can track it back (well a guess) to when we had a new toilet fitted. Daily the pipes will occasionally ‘groan’ as though there’s a pressure block somewhere. Like a dead end or kink in the pipes somewhere.

    Do we need something like a pressure release or something attaching to one of the water pipes?

    (Cold/hot water)

    Check the fill valve on your new toilet. Pressure changes when other appliances are used can result in water passing and causing weird noises.

    A groan when passing water can be a bit worrying. Maybe a trip to your local STD clinic?
