Fitted my new Reverb at the weekend ….first ride last night….really impressed (dont know why its taken me so long!). Also noticed that there was a slight bit of play if you hold the seat and twist from side to side….didnt notice it while riding I have to say.
Is this small ammount of play normal?

Yes

You will get a vey small amount of movement in the bushes and keys which hold the two posts in place and allow them to side, however a ‘full on wobble’ isn’t correct.

Wouldnt call it a wobble….sounds normal…I’ll shut up and get on with it!
