turned out our place featured in some Rotary Club (or similar) car treasure hunt.

Same for us, remote cottage with a plaque in the gable end that was the answer to a clue. There was usually a noticable increase in (strange) traffic volume when these treasure hunts occured though, not just a single car.

Yesterday my mum told me the address of a house she lived in for two years as a child. It has a front garden wall which was built by my Grandad in 1960.

I’m going to nip over and get a photo of my Grandad’s handiwork this summer.
