I was thinking of a ride in the Pentlands tomorrow’s morn, has anyone been up there in the last week? Anywhere I should avoid? Or should I just go to inners instead?

The majority of it is actually not bad, maidens descent has some deep muddy sections particularly at the sign post where you need to get off and push.

Inner has a DH race this weekend, you might have to push it up pass the crowds at the bottom, but the rest of the course should be Ok, not sure about the end bottom section though. I’m off the Glentress for a blast instead.

I’ve just realised that there’s a a Tweedlove ride tomorrow too but that’s in the afternoon.
    The pentlands it is then.

Was up on wednesday night, the main paths like Maidens north side are OK but the usual suspects like Clubbidean, Pistachio etc are very wet.

Some path repairs have been scheduled by the PHRP, which is good news, including Bonaly reservoir and CEC side of Maidens.
