Loop 2 has a diversion that can be ignored (there’s a bit of broken boardwalk) but the top of the big decent on loop one is probably never going to be the same again – complete carnage. Looks like they’ll have to put the machines through there and unless they’re amazingly careful they’ll kill the track and have to rebuild whole sections.
Something else to hate Brexit for – a lot of funding for new track in the area came from the EU (although the track the volunteers have maintained is much nicer than the pump-style new stuff). Can’t see UK.gov seeing MTB trail funding in Wales as a priority when they can’t/won’t fund the NHS.
Anyway, still open but that is a big loss.
