    Have a pedal dilemma. Eldest Cursing (10 years) is not happy with his pedals. Has some generic flats that were heavy, slippy and generally crap. I switched these for a set of Nukeproof Electron. After a few rides he now has Pizza shins from the inevitable. They are also a bit big for his size 3 feet.

    Are there any suggestions for a light,smaller cage, reasonably grippy pedal without the post ride telling off from SWMBO?

    Was looking at a pair of these, really not sure if they would be grippy enough. Anyone got any experience of these…

    These are pretty good – a reasonable compromise as they have pins and decent grip, but they aren’t too vicious. And they are cheap!
