In my last dealings I said PayPal gift or add fees to total.

The sold price is the amount of money I want to receive regardless of payment method.

Why would you want to take back a gift? Have you fallen out with the recipient?

On the plus side, been using PP Gift on STW for years and never had a problem. On the minus side, the classifieds do seem to have attracted quite a few fraudsters recently….

What part of “gift” don’t you understand? Sending money as a gift means that Paypal don’t charge you for their role in getting it to the other person (isn’t that nice of them?). Since they haven’t charged you for doing this, why would they then want to get involved (at their cost) in getting it back for you?

Have you tried asking Paypal rather than random people on the internet?

They do charge you they are not a charity but the sender pays not the receiver.

Its a strange world where you pay to have no protection or the buyer pays for you to have protection. Also read the T&C’s rather than just clicking yes.
