- Parcel Force are useless shocker!
Rose bikes send parcel by DHL.
DHL tracking eventually says couldn’t deliver.
They tell, that’s handled by ParcelForce
Nice Lady on the phone gives me my ParcelForce tracking number.
ParcelForce website says “Attempted Delivery”
LIARS LIARS LIARS
No Card, and I’ve been in all day waiting so they just haven’t even tried!
I assume I can pick up this parcel with just the tracking number?Posted 7 years agoneilsonwheelsMember

The parcel will go to the local sorting office just take you passport or driving licence and be nice to the postie on the desk. You won’t be the first person without a card or the last.Posted 7 years ago
why you upset with parcel force, wasn’t it given to DHL to deliver?Posted 7 years agosmudgeMember
I had same problem last week… an apparent attempted pickup, no card or anything.. I was in all day waiting, ended up taking it down to the depot instead the following day.
You may also have customs & duty to pay when you get therePosted 7 years ago

DHL Germany sent it. Looks like they hand off to ParcelForce for the UK bit. Which seems rubbish, I’ll feed that back to Rose bikes.Posted 7 years ago

DHL are useless shocker 😉
I’ve had some grief with parcelforce over the years but less than most courier firms, and all the irritating things they do are industry standard. But the tradeoff is they have more, better located depots for pickup.
(also I’m quite well disposed to them because last time I had a parcelforce parcel delivered, I was at work… But then the driver popped back in at 6pm for another try on his way back to the depot. Spot on)Posted 7 years ago

LBS don’t stock XTR rings. They can “get them in” at full price, which doesn’t seem like a good deal really; waiting and paying full whack.Posted 7 years agopostierichMember
No card no item, even if you have the tracking number.Posted 7 years agob rMember
DHL = Drop it, Hide it, Lose itPosted 7 years agovalaMember
Parcelforce last week logged my parcel as a failed delivery without even turning up and therefore obviously not leaving a card.Posted 7 years ago
Luckily I kept tracking the item and when I called up they said I could just collect it. Just needed my name and postcode.
Still defeats the purpose of a delivery service.
