I have a D700 with a selection of lenses, but the weight and bulk, not to mention the thought of falling off onto it stops me carrying it on rides. The GF1 seems to be available for around £250 second hand with the kit lens, does anyone use one for biking shots (shooting RAW, in either manual or one of the priority modes) ? How do you get on with it ? Any images you can post please ?

I like mine a lot. I’ve just got the 20mm lens. I’m not sure what’s the best picture to show the camera quality and not just my dodgy technique so here’s a couple from last week. There’s loads more on my flickr or website, everything within the last year has been the GF1. I shoot in RAW but just use Lightroom to convert back ‘cos I’m not an expert in that sort of thing!

Got a GF2 and it seems to do OK.
