I have a Timbuk2 messenger bag which is I occasionally use to carry my 17in laptop to/from work. The bag doesn’t have any padding on the back or in the internal laptop section which means that the laptop is uncomfortable against my back. Can anyone recommend an extra-padded sleeve which I can put the laptop in inside the bag?

I don’t need to carry the laptop often enough to warrant a rack and panniers and the rest of the time I use a light-weight Camelbak when I just need to carry my lunch and underwear etc.

    Any recommendations/advice appreciated.

    Cheers

    I have one of these

cost very little. Has it’s own shoulder strap so if Im just going to a meeting and need the chromebook & a pen and some paper, it’s nice and light. I shove it in my alpkit gourdon.
