Fitting new rotor, wheel spinning on stand, finger in disc.

Have cut the nail on my index finger clean in two.

What made you think it was a good idea to stick your finger in?

When I was about 10 I put my fingers in one of these

    to see what would happen.

Pain was what would happen, as it turned out.

DOne that. Never do bike maintenance at 2am after 6 beers. Rotation speed was minimal too.

Thankfully the kitchen floor is Lino, so could just mop up the blood.

Took about 2 weeks (and daily trimming) for the end bit of nail to move enough to MTFU and rip it off (actually, it just snagged on something, so no MTFUing beforehand). Then a few months for the main bit to get back to kind of normal.

I put one of these to my ear when I was little to see how the wheel felt against my skin or something. Got a bit close and my ear got caught in the wheel/sprocket, cue lots of blood and screaming!

It’s either ‘rotor’ (US) OR ‘disc’ (English). Can’t have it both ways! 😉

I tested to see if the cigar lighter was working (when i was about 8) as it wasn’t glowing, with index finger.

cue smoke and smell of burning flesh telling me the answer was “yes”

My brother managed to shoot his own finger (air gun), stupid if it was a pistol, but it must have taken quite some effort with a rifle.

My dad once asked me to cut the elctric cable on an old storage heater I was keen to impress & get the cable the perfect length for the new position, but why did I leave it plugged in?

Part of me want to see the fingers K issue!!!
