Thinking of putting a traditional heavy bag or one of the round ones in the garden. Anybody done this and have recommendations for bag, brackets for attaching to a brick wall or a decent stand?

Had been given an old banana bag, made a gallows bracket by bolting 50mm angle iron together) and used several epoxy anchor bolts to attach it to brick gable end. Even so I’m still a bit concerned with the weight so may use a lighter filling, thinking of a sausage of carpet/underlay/bags of sand in the middle.
Also built a basic wooden frame with cheap plastic roofing sheet and use a ‘garden furniture’ cover sheet to protect it from the worst of the weather.

Have seen videos of people using old car tyres to make DIY all weather uppercut punchbags and may give that a go in the future.
