Used a length of hose I found in the gutter and a zip tie as a makeshift tensioner when my SS tensioner failed and the chain kept dropping off as it was too loose without.

Tied knots in tubes after getting four flats (arrived in US for mtbing trip, made resort and last lift of the day in a real rush but had forgotten to pump tyres up properly in our rush – first rocky section off the top = pinch flats all round…) and not having enough spare tubes. worked ok actually.

My seat fell off tonight. Nearly fell off backwards, just managed to slam the brakes on and stop, was going up a slight hill at the time.

The front bolt on that clamps the rails snapped in half and I lost the top nut type thing that the bolt goes through.

A mooch through the CamelBak and no zip ties, no spare bolts, but I had an old Hope universal light mount that had snapped when I fell onto it back in the winter.

Managed to bodge it into a front bolt
