  • Opinions – good tablet/ebook for PDF docs?

I’ve got a bucket-load of PDFs (mostly tech training material), and instead of using a PC + Monitor, I’d like to hold the documents in my hand (so to speak).

Other than the mighty iPad – what else is there on the market?

Not interested in playing games, using Facebook, or watching films. Strictly used for PDF documents.

Kobo readers will do pdf’s by the look of it.

    currently only £50 at whsmiths

and with an electronic ink screen probably better for tech manual reading than a fondleslab.

The docs will be quite image heavy, and I’ve heard the Kindle isn’t great at managing that (apart from the Kindle DX).

That Kobo looks interesting…. although just because a device supports PDF, doesn’t mean it will render it very nice!
