Quality wise it looks pretty good. There’s no fish eye distortion wish is nice but obviously you get a narrowwer field of view. It might be an idea to try experiment with positioning before you go. Personally i’d point the camera skyward a bit more to get more action. Also try riding some bumpy and steep terrain as one of the Gopros strengths is the built-in image stabiliser. Never been to the alps on bikee but I doubt the trails are footpath smooth.Posted 6 years agosteffybhoyMember
Would this video footage be acceptable as a poor man’s go pro?
I’d like to use it for the alps.
I used a bullet type helmet-cam laced to a camcorder a couple of years back, but the video quality was very poor.
The above footage was taken with a digital photo camera(which can record 720p hd@25fps.
