I need a new battery for my solarstorm X2, has anybody got any experience with the open-light-systems battery?

It says they’re using Panasonic cells, so it’ll be a good battery. I’d be more concerned about the exposed connections on the bottom – it’ll be short circuit protected, but it’s just looks unfinished.

They are not exposed. They are covered in a clear resin of some sort. Completely waterproof. I have one which I bought with my mj-782. Solid piece of kit.

Battery turned up today. Very well sealed with top panasonic batteries. And the case it comes in to fix to bike is the best I’ve seen.

Does the connection on this battery fit the solarstorm or do you have to do any modifications?
