It's not a total loss for the hapless owner though, because according to reports he's already become popular among celebrities as a result of the crash – claiming that Arnold Schwarzenegger called him when he heard the news.

Oh well that makes it all ok then 😯

Reminds me of that scene in Risky Business where (a very young) Tom Cruise's father's Porsche 928 ends up in a lake and it's been recovered and taken to the local garage. The guy from the garage comes to talk to Cruise and asks 'OK who's the submarine commander?'!

OK, yes, I am old if I can remember the film! Rebecca de Mornay was cute though… Or at least I thought so…
